Bad weather on Saturday 1st November meant that the original skills session did not get on the water and some land-based training was provided instead.
The team has been monitoring the weather forecast and is pleased to announce that they propose to hold a replacement session on Sunday 16th November.
It is aimed at cadets who have completed at least RYA 2 and would like to improve and practise their skills in a coached environment, and those who want to start to learn how to race.
First refusal was given to those who had registered for the 1st November however there are 3 as yet unconfirmed spaces so please
add your name to the waiting list if you want to take one of these if they become available.
Be Weather aware! Temperatures have dropped significantly since most of our cadets last sailed. Please ensure you wear a windproof layer on top of your wetsuit and bring a towel and a change of clothes to enable you to warm up quickly after sailing.
Gloves and a hat are recommended too.
