Dinghy parking for the Merlin Rocket Championships will be on the Elcho Green which, if approaching the town from the West (Edinburgh side), is on Beach Road on your left, after you come down Station Hill.
The Elcho Green will be open for dinghy parking on Friday 13th August. The diagram below shows the entrance to the dinghy park and we ask that you park your dinghy towards the eastern end of the green with the bow facing towards the sea. Please unhitch your dinghy as quickly as possible and then park your car away from the Elcho Green. This is to make sure that we can keep traffic flowing freely if a number of boats happen to arrive at the same time.
Please do not attempt to bring your dinghy down to the harbour area as you will be faced with a tricky journey through or around the town to get to the Elcho Green dinghy park.
Unfortunately no car parking is available at the Clubhouse, nor on the Elcho Green, which is reserved strictly for dinghy parking only. However, there are a number of public car parks in the town centre which are a short walk away from the Clubhouse.
