The ELYC keelboats race around the Isle of May annually and if ever there was a race in the calendar which offered a change of scenery, this is it.
The Isle of May is located approximately 11 miles from the shores of North Berwick, is approximately 0.9 miles long and 0.3 miles wide. The island is owned and managed by NatureScot as a national nature reserve. Puffins, Kittitwakes, Razorbills, Fulmars, Oystercatchers, Grey Seals, Terns and Guillemots can all be found in close proximity.
The May Island Race is a great opportunity to get involved in crewing, to meet some of the keelboat sailors
