Calling all Winter sailors!!
This Saturday 3rd December we are providing rib cover for a practise sail between 10am and 12noon. An ideal opportunity for those wanting to improve their skills, be they Toppers, Lasers, RS200s or another class of dinghy.
Our very own Nick Roche will lead some drills or you can just free sail within a defined area. There will be a debrief in the wet lecture room afterwards prior to afternoon club racing. The cafe will be open for lunches.
Please be ready to sail with boats rigged on the beach for a briefing there at 10am.
1) A training and practice session aimed at those looking to get some extra time on the water.
2) Minimum RYA Level 2 or equivalent experience.
3) If you are under 18 years old please ensure you have completed an U18 parental consent form.
4) Please make sure you give yourself enough time to get yourself and your boat ready so you are on the beach ready to sail at 9:45am.
As we move into Autumn & Winter the windchill and cold water are the enemy. Layering up under your wetsuit is essential to stay warm. A windproof outer layer, hat and gloves are required.
