As one of Scotland's most treasured sailing clubs, East Lothian Yacht Club provides excellent facilities to members and has a large and enviable sailing area within a few hundred yards of the shore.

We are an inclusive club for all ages, run by our members for our members. There is ample opportunity to get involved not just on the sailing front, but in all aspects of club life.

A warm, welcoming and supportive club, ELYC membership isn't just about on the water activities. It is also about friendship, family and fun.

£245 for 2025/26

For members who are 27 years of age or over.

£460 for 2025/26

Full membership for two adults, plus Cadet or Child membership for all children of Child(10-) or Cadet(11+) age. All family members must reside at the same address.

£390 for 2025/26

Full membership for two adults living at the same address (two spouses, civil partners or co-habitants).

£82 for 2025/26

For members who are 

between the ages of 17

 and 27.

£67 for 2025/26

For members who are between

11 and 17 years of age.

FREE*

For members who are 

10 years of age or younger and *have a parent, grandparent or guardian who will accompany them on the water. Please email membership@elyc.org.uk to apply for this category.

£82 for 2025/26

For members who are 

27 years of age or over and do not wish to sail, but are keen to support the Club. These members must be introduced by an existing Cadet, Young Adult, Associate, Honorary or Full Member.

Not Applicable

Restricted categories are only available to existing members and include associate, honorary, temporary, reciprocal and out of port memberships.
