    The ELYC Commodore’s Coffee Morning raised £330 despite a less than hoped for turn out from members.  Proceeds from the event will be put towards the purchase of a video camera to be used as a teaching aid for young dinghy sailors and improvers in training.  Many thanks to Andreas and Karen from the Buttercup Cafe for donating the scones, tea and coffee.

    You are cordially invited to attend the annual Commodore's Coffee Morning on Saturday 5th May ELYC Club House.

    Please come along and enjoy the stalls, the cafe will be serving coffee and freshly baked scones donated by Andreas.

    The entry fee,which includes a cup of coffee or glass of juice and a scone, is £2.00 adults and 50p children.

    Doors open at 10 am.

    Bring your family and friends, we hope local residents will also join us.

    There will be a home made cake stall with tasty donations from fellow club members, a book / DVD / computer game stall, White Elephant stall, a Tombola and  Raffle with prizes for all ages,  and lots of games.

    The money raised at this event is spent on items that benefit all club members. It was used to buy a flat screened  television for the sail loft which allow us all to view photographs taken of the action on the water.

    If you want to make a contribution to one of the stalls, the Tombola or Raffle, please bring your donation along to the Club House on Friday 4th May from 7pm or Saturday 5th May before 9.30.

    There are a series of Gaff Night being held throuout the year.  This is a social evening for a small special interest sailing group.  The bar open at this time to all club members.

    The first is on  Friday 27th April at 7.30.  Future dates wil appear on the 'Upcoming Events' section of the website.
