Curry Night

The ELYC tradition is that men do all the work and the ladies relax.  Rumour has it that on occasion a female hand may have assisted with the cooking, although this remains unconfirmed and we'll say no more about such things.

Ladies - come and have a good time and be impressed by the culinary skills of your men - past highlights have included Thai Massaman Curry, Butternut Squash and Spinach Curry, Lamb Bjuna, Malaysian White Fish Curry, Goan Chicken, Thai Prawn, Vegetable Byriani, Homemade Pakora and Onion Bhajis...

Men- if you cant cook, dont worry, you can help out with setting up the room, the bar, serving and of course there'll be some washing up.

Please let Clive know if you are available to help with setting up between 6.30pm - 7.30pm.

Tickets are a bargain at £7.50 per head, the bar will be open for the evening.

This is a popular event that takes a bit of organising, so places must be booked.

You may claim back for ingredients so please bring receipts. please however bear in mind that we need to cover costs so making a King Prawn Curry may be slightly expensive! Rice will be provided from the kitchen.

If you are bringing food, please deliver it to the sail lost either hot at 7pm or cold before 5m to the sail loft on the day.
