Safety Boat Refresher Sessions

Just in time for the warmer season, we will again be running powerboat refresher sessions to ensure that you can feel confident in your boat handling when it’s your turn for safety duty.

Two RIBs will be available offering a maximum of 6 places.

Participants must be club members and PB2 qualified.

Each informal session will run from 10:00 until 11:30am on Saturday mornings.

These practical sessions will be almost entirely on the water covering a selection of practical topics including:

• Care for the boats
• Launch and recovery
• Dust the rust off your boat handling
• Slow manoeuvres
• Coming alongside – harbour/pier
• Man overboard/recovering a sailor

Please be prepared, changed and ready to go on the water by session start time. Session starts at the club front door.

The sessions are free but must be pre-booked online.
