Fun Fridays are social sailing sessions when members can practice and develop their skills or just go for a sail. Emphasis will be on organised fun sailing with structured games and exercises.
Sail in either your own boat or use a club boat, Toppers and 2000s are available. Please note you must have your Adult Stage 3 certificate or equivalent to use the 2000s.
All members should ensure they have appropriate equipment for the weather and conditions, to include personal buoyancy. ELYC cannot supply buoyancy aids and helmets for use on Fun Fridays.
The club asks for a £5 hire fee for a Topper and £10 for a 2000 (double hander). We ask that this is put in the marked envelopes which can be found on the back of the clubhouse door and place in the boat hire box. If you can’t find them please ask a club member.
Please note: mast head floats must be used when taking a 2000 out.
